How 25% is calculated
Commission is 25% of the eligible amount a referred customer actually pays. Discounts, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks are excluded. On an annual plan, the single annual payment inside the 12-month window is the eligible amount.
These figures illustrate the 25% standard rate. They are not income promises or current Narration Box plan prices. A referral only produces a payable commission after the payment clears the 90-day pending period and eligibility review.

A $30 payment plus $6 sales tax earns $7.50, not $9.00. Each commission stays pending for 90 days before review, and only approved commission counts toward the $50 minimum payout.
How affiliate payouts work
Your affiliate portal tracks referred payments, commission, and payout status. Not every tracked referral becomes payable commission, so the portal shows each stage from payment to completed payout.

A new customer pays
A successful payment from a referred customer is recorded. Signups and free trials do not earn commission on their own.

The commission is pending for 90 days
Each commission stays pending for 90 calendar days after the payment, while refunds, disputes, fraud, and eligibility are reviewed.

Approved commission joins a payout
Approved commission is added to your balance. A payout is created once your approved balance reaches $50.

Funds are sent
Payouts are sent through the affiliate portal after any required payout and identity verification is complete.

What to check before your first payout
Who qualifies
Only genuinely new paying customers. Existing customers, self-referrals, duplicate or artificial accounts, and custom enterprise deals are excluded unless approved in writing.
Payout timing
Commissions are pending for 90 days after each qualifying payment. Once approved, they are paid on the payout schedule shown in your affiliate portal.
Minimum payout
$50 in approved commission. A smaller approved balance carries forward until it reaches $50.
Refunds and disputes
Commission on refunded, disputed, fraudulent, or unauthorized payments is not eligible and may be reversed. Recurring commission stops when the subscription is cancelled.
Payment methods
Available methods may include PayPal, Wise, local bank, and wire payouts, depending on your location and the payout details you provide.
Verification
You may need to verify your identity and payout details, and provide invoices or tax forms required for your location, before funds are sent. Fees can vary by method.

Can I refer myself?
No. Purchases through accounts you own or control, accounts created mainly to generate commission, duplicate accounts, and artificial signups do not earn commission. Referral abuse can lead to withheld commission and removal from the program. Read the Affiliate Program Terms
What happens when customers cancel, refund, or dispute payments?
A cancelled subscription stops earning new commission. Commission tied to a refunded, disputed, fraudulent, or unauthorized payment is not eligible and may be rejected or reversed, including after approval. Read the Affiliate Program Terms
Are existing customers eligible?
No. Commission applies only to genuinely new paying customers. Existing Narration Box customers, custom enterprise contracts, and independently negotiated deals are excluded unless Narration Box approves them in writing.
Can I negotiate a higher commission?
Qualified creators, agencies, and strategic partners can ask for a negotiated rate of up to 40%. A higher rate applies only once it is agreed in writing.
How does signup and approval work?

Yes. Tutorials, demos, reviews, comparisons, templates, and production guides are good fits as long as the claims are accurate and the promotion is not misleading.
Are there any restrictions on how I can promote the product?
